Buy carbon credits today to offset your organization’s carbon footprint.
The Nuxsen carbon credits (offsets) you buy contribute directly to the construction of new sustainable energy projects, so less money is spent on the overhead of intermediaries. This savings means our offsets are very high quality, so your investment is most impactful.
We conform to IWA 42:2022(E) and other international standards to: “Sell carbon offsets which are used for new sustainable energy projects, and for carbon dioxide removal (CDR) initiatives.”
We contribute a portion of all carbon offset proceeds to the Adaptation Fund of the UNFCCC, the international accreditation body for carbon credits*, or the UN Carbon Offset Platform.

High Quality Carbon Credits
When you buy carbon credits of high quality, you contribute to the most impactful projects. We value the four recognized offset metrics because they indicate high quality:
Additionality means the degree to which our projects are achieved without offsets. Nuxsen is dependent on revenue from offsets, so your contributions are highly impactful.
Permanence describes the durability of a project, this means how long the benefit will last. Nuxsen projects seek to decarbonize our power grids, therefore the impact is permanent.
Leakage refers to negative externalities, for example, an increase in emissions elsewhere caused by a project. Our projects seek to replace aging fossil fuel infrastructure, so there is no leakage.
Co-benefits are additional added-value outcomes which accrue to the communities in which we operate. We help create jobs and decarbonize local power grids, thus economic development is created.
Your contribution to Nuxsen's projects is highly valued because we rely on offsets. When you increase your offsets beyond your actual footprint you become net-negative, thus maximizing your impact on the environment.
*Carbon offsets offered by Nuxsen are not federally regulated and are not exchange-traded CER credits. Nuxsen LLC is not affiliated with the UNFCCC secretariat.
