Dr. Wilfredo Giordano-Perez

Dr. Giordano-Perez is a family medicine physician exploring the intersectionality of medicine, humanities, business, and leadership in order to redesign and reimagine a health care delivery model with health equity at its core, inspiring innovation. An Assistant Clinical Professor at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University, he is internationally recognized for his work in global health as a training and development consultant for both the Haitian and Laotian Ministries of Health on issues of malnutrition and food insecurity.

He is a strong supporter of advanced nuclear energy and is passionate about its ability to power large scale desalination plants which will expand universal and equitable access to safe and affordable drinking water for everyone, in line with the World Health Organization’s sustainable development goal targets.
