Successfully held roles as Board Chairman, Board Member, President and Chief Executive Officer, Senior Vice President, Vice President and Director with Fortune 100 companies. Widely recognized for project development, financing, and implementation.
Most recently, Roderick served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Toshiba / Westinghouse responsible for oversight of 162 companies and over 40,000 employees. He managed all energy product lines including nuclear, thermal, renewables, hydro, geothermal, fuel cells, transmission and distribution, smart meters, smart grid, nuclear, nuclear medicine and all factories and research centers. He also has leadership roles as a Sr Vice President at General Electric Hitachi and numerous roles in the Electric Utility industry. His involvement in the development and licensing of the AP1000, ESBWR, and ABWR as well as the start of the Small Modular Reactor concepts.
Recognized as a business thought leader with news media, participating in numerous interviews with Wall Street Journal, Fox News, CNBC, NY Times, Bloomberg, The Economist and Platts, Roderick has testified before the Energy Subcommittee, Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and numerous State Public Service Commissions. He represented the U.S. Energy Industry with President Obama’s historic India trade mission as one of 10 U.S. CEOs and has served on the executive boards of the Nuclear Energy Institute and World Nuclear Association.
