Arthur Shih

Dr. Arthur Shih was trained as a chemical engineer specializing in catalysis and electrochemistry. His areas of expertise include materials science, catalytic conversion, hydrogen electrolysis, and fuel cell technologies.

Prior to joining Nūxsen, he developed electrolyzer and fuel cell technologies for the production of green hydrogen and ammonia at the Institute of Chemistry at Leiden University, in the Netherlands. Previously he collaborated with Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. in synthesizing and testing amine sorbents for point source CO₂ capture.

Arthur holds a BSE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
